Description

COMPOSITION

• Escherichia coli (J5) inactivated > 50 RED₆₀*
• Staphylococcus aureus (CP8) strain SP 140 inactivated, expressing Slime Associated Antigenic Complex (SAAC) > 50 RED₈₀**

*RED₆₀: Rabbit effective dose in 60% of the animals (serology)
**RED₈₀: Rabbit effective dose in 80% of the animals (serology)

CONTRAINDICATIONS

None.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Route: Intramuscular use (preferably alternate sides of the neck).

Administer one 2 ml dose by deep intramuscular injection according to the following schedule:
• First vaccination: 45 days before the expected parturition date.
• Second vaccination: 35 days later (10 days before parturition).
• Third vaccination: 62 days after the second vaccination (booster dose).

The full vaccination program should be repeated with each gestation.

Allow the vaccine to reach +15°C to +25°C before administration. Shake well before use.

USE DURING PREGNANCY AND LACTATION

Can be used during pregnancy and lactation.

No information is available on the safety and efficacy of this vaccine when used with other veterinary products. Do not mix with any other vaccine or immunological product.

SPECIAL WARNINGS

• The entire herd should be immunised.
• Vaccination should be part of a complete mastitis control program, including proper milking, hygiene, nutrition, housing, and health monitoring.
• Only healthy animals should be vaccinated.

Precautions for the person administering the product:
This vaccine contains mineral oil. Accidental injection may cause severe pain and swelling. Seek immediate medical attention even if only a small amount is injected. If pain persists beyond 12 hours after examination, seek medical advice again.

To the physician: Accidental injection may cause intense swelling and possible tissue necrosis. Prompt surgical attention may be necessary.
