Description

COMPOSITION:
Inactivated Mycoplasma agalactiae ovis.
AGALAXIPRA stimulates active immunity to the 784 strain of Mycoplasma agalactiae ovis in sheep and goat herds.

DOSAGE:
Sheep (Lambs and Ewes) and Goats (Kids and Female Goats): 2 ml per animal from 2 months of age.

ADMINISTRATION ROUTE AND FORM:
Intramuscular or Subcutaneous injection.

ORIENTATIONAL VACCINATION PROGRAMME:
In farms where an emergency vaccination must be carried out because of a field outbreak in neighboring areas, it is advisable to administer two vaccine doses at an interval of 8–15 days.
Generally, a periodical vaccination every 6 months is recommended.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR USE:
– Vaccinate only healthy animals.
– Use sterile material during administration.
– Use the vaccine immediately after opening.
– Administer the vaccine at a temperature between +15°C and +25°C.
– Shake well before use.

ADVERSE REACTIONS:
Sporadic anaphylactic reactions may appear in some sensitive animals. In such cases, administer an antihistaminic.
USE DURING PREGNANCY AND LACTATION:
Can be administered safely at any stage of pregnancy or lactation.
