DESCRIPTION

DORMAFUGE is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic solution containing Doramectin, an avermectin derivative that paralyzes and eliminates nematodes and parasitic arthropods by increasing chloride ion permeability in their nerve and muscle cells. This causes paralysis and death of the parasites, providing long-lasting protection and enhancing animal health, growth, and productivity.

Description

INDICATIONS

A. Cattle:
Effective against gastrointestinal roundworms (Ostertagia, Cooperia, Haemonchus, Trichostrongylus, Oesophagostomum, Bunostomum spp.), lungworms (Dictyocaulus viviparus), eyeworms (Thelazia spp.), warbles (Hypoderma spp.), sucking lice (Haematopinus eurysternus), and mange mites (Psoroptes bovis, Sarcoptes bovis).
Also aids in controlling Nematodirus spp., biting lice (Damalinia bovis), and Chorioptes bovis mange mites.

B. Sheep:
Treats mange mites (Psoroptes ovis), gastrointestinal roundworms (Trichostrongylus vitrinus, Trichuris spp., Nematodirus battus), including benzimidazole-resistant strains, lungworms (Dictyocaulus filaria), and nasal bots (Oestrus ovis).
For full control of Nematodirus battus adults and L4 larvae, use a dosage of 300 mcg/kg body weight.

Route: Injectable
Cattle:
Administer subcutaneously in the neck region.
Sheep:
For general parasite control: subcutaneous injection in the neck region.
For treatment of Psoroptes ovis (sheep scab mite) and adult Nematodirus battus: intramuscular injection may be used.
