EFICUR®

Description

COMPOSITION

Each ml contains:
• Ceftiofur (as hydrochloride) – 50 mg

EFICUR is presented as a white to yellowish oily suspension.

Dosage and Administration

Cattle:

• Respiratory disease: 1 mg ceftiofur/kg body weight/day for 3–5 days by subcutaneous injection (equivalent to 1 ml EFICUR per 50 kg body weight/day).
• Acute interdigital necrobacillosis: 1 mg ceftiofur/kg body weight/day for 3 days by subcutaneous injection (1 ml EFICUR per 50 kg body weight/day).
• Acute post-partum metritis: 1 mg ceftiofur/kg body weight/day for 5 consecutive days by subcutaneous injection (1 ml EFICUR per 50 kg body weight/day).

Subsequent injections should be administered at different sites. In cases of acute post-partum metritis, additional supportive therapy may be required.
