DESCRIPTION

EVACTIN is a dual-action antiparasitic injection combining Ivermectin and Clorsulon to control internal and external parasites such as gastrointestinal worms, liver flukes, lungworms, lice, and mange mites.
Ivermectin, a macrocyclic lactone, paralyzes and kills parasites by binding to glutamate-gated chloride channels in their nerve and muscle cells.
Clorsulon specifically targets adult liver flukes (Fasciola spp.) by blocking glycolytic enzymes essential for energy production, leading to their rapid elimination.

Description

INDICATIONS

EVACTIN is indicated for the treatment and control of a wide range of internal and external parasites, including:
Gastrointestinal Roundworms (Adults and 4th Stage Larvae):
Ostertagia spp. (including inhibited O. ostertagi), Haemonchus placei, Trichostrongylus axei, T. colubriformis, Cooperia spp., Bunostomum phlebotomum, Oesophagostomum radiatum, Strongyloides papillosus (adults only), Nematodirus helvetianus, N. spathiger (adults only), Toxocara vitulorum, and Trichuris spp. (adults only).
Lungworms (Adults and 4th Stage Larvae): Dictyocaulus viviparus
Liver Flukes (Adults): Fasciola hepatica
Eye Worms (Adults): Thelazia spp.
Warbles (Parasitic Stages): Hypodermal bovis, H. lineatum
Mange Mites: Psoroptes bovis, Sarcoptes scabiei var. bovis
Sucking Lice: Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus, Solenopotes capillatus

COMPOSITION 

Each 100 mL contains:

Active Substance Concentration
Ivermectin 1 g
Clorsulon 10 g
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Route: Subcutaneous injection
Cattle: 1 mL per 50 kg body weight
