Description

COMPOSITION

Each 100 ml contains:
• Amoxicillin trihydrate 150 mg
• Gentamicin (as sulphate) 40 mg

Amoxicillin and gentamicin are two broad-spectrum antibiotics with complementary activity. Together, they provide extensive antibacterial coverage against Gram-positive (e.g., Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Corynebacterium) and Gram-negative organisms (e.g., Escherichia coli, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Pseudomonas).

In vitro studies demonstrate their synergistic action. The oil-based suspension formulation ensures prolonged therapeutic effects and optimal diffusion within the organism. The Gentamox formulation enhances the therapeutic properties of each antibiotic when compared to individual administration.

DOSAGE

Cattle: 30–40 ml/adult per day; 10–15 ml/calf per day.
Horses: 30–50 ml/adult per day; 5–15 ml/foal per day.

General dosage: 1 ml per 10 kg body weight daily for 3 days.
When administering large volumes, divide the dose between two injection sites to facilitate absorption.
