BACKGROUND:
Canine parvovirus infection, distemper, hepatitis, laryngotracheitis, tracheobronchitis, and leptospirosis are diseases that can affect dogs at any age and may even cause death. Most animals are protected during the first few weeks of life by maternal antibodies. As these antibodies decline, the animals become susceptible to infection again.
Systematic vaccination of puppies and adult dogs induces antibody levels high enough to ensure protection against these diseases. In asymptomatic carriers of leptospirosis, vaccination also reduces the potential risk of transmission to humans.
Dosage and Administration
Dogs: Administer 1 ml per dog from 8 weeks of age onwards, for all ages, weights, sexes, and breeds, by subcutaneous injection.
Advice on Correct Administration
Recommended vaccination program:
• First vaccination: at 8 weeks of age
• Revaccination: at 12 weeks of age
• Annual revaccination thereafter.
